About the position

The Sr. Instructional Designer will conduct in-depth job-task analysis and needs assessments to determine effective training solutions and performance enhancement strategies. This role involves developing training program goals and objectives, designing curricula in collaboration with subject matter experts, and utilizing e-Learning applications to create interactive training products. The position focuses on ensuring that training outcomes are achieved through effective evaluation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth job-task analysis and needs assessment to identify learning objectives and determine training solutions.
• Consult with team members to develop individual training program goals, overall program objectives, and module objectives.
• Apply instructional design theory to create new training programs from scratch with some managerial guidance.
• Utilize adult learning theory to select appropriate training media and methodologies based on audience needs.
• Collaborate with e-Learning specialists to develop sophisticated e-Learning programs and applications.
• Research, select, and modify existing training curriculum and materials to meet learning needs.
• Review program evaluations and feedback to recommend improvements for training effectiveness.

Requirements

• Proficient in Articulate 360.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience in the insurance industry.
• Applicable knowledge of underwriting.
