About the position

The role serves as the product owner for a key segment of the Voyager Health platform at Banfield Pet Hospital, focusing on enhancing the end-user experience to support optimal veterinary care and client engagement. The position involves utilizing design thinking and agile methodologies to continuously refine the product, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address user pain points and ensure alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as product owner for a key segment of the Voyager Health platform.
• Ensure a superlative end-user experience that supports optimum delivery of veterinary care and client engagement.
• Utilize design thinking, growth hacking, and client lifecycle insights to deliver continuous refinement of the product using agile methodologies.
• Establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to support identification of end-user pain points.
• Create and gain business alignment on roadmaps and prioritization for digital products.
• Ensure feature prioritization that supports rapid launch, test, refine cycles.
• Develop strategies, programs, tests, and ongoing monitoring methods to support development and optimization of digital client experiences.
• Maintain familiarity with digital industry trends and digital user experience developments.
• Provide leadership to a delivery team and direction to a strategic vendor partner.
• Track run rates and costs for delivery to inform returns and value.
• Collaborate with business leaders and managers to create clear outcomes and project scope.
• Participate in the benefit evaluation process of the delivered solution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Innovation, Client Research, Technology, Data/Science, Business, Pharmacy is required.
• 10 years of experience in Digital Product Management, Business Analyst, and Business Development is required.
• Digital product and innovation management experience is required.
• Data and customer analysis experience is required.
• Cross-functional process management experience is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree/PhD/DVM, or PharmD is preferred.
• Agile Certified Product Owner is preferred.
• Health care background (veterinary or human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) is preferred.
