Sr. Java/Angular Developer

About the position

Vantage Labs is a tech incubator specializing in AI and natural language technologies, delivering SaaS solutions across various industries including Education, Government, and Healthcare. The role involves developing innovative full-stack solutions using Java and Angular. Your expertise in Java and Angular are crucial to our success. As a hands-on Team member, you will take on various responsibilities and embrace the Agile development approach in order to help us continue to develop high-quality products by being involved in cross-functional discussions and driving new innovative ideas. You will be exposed to the UI, front and backend, database, performance tuning, security design, and deployment. Your role is pivotal in driving innovation and excellence in our product. You will be part of a talented team of developers, fostering an environment of creativity and continuous improvement. Your contribution will ensure that we deliver top-notch features and improvements that keep our customers delighted and our platform ahead of the competition.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy full-stack solutions to the cloud.
• Debug and resolve issues to maintain platform stability.
• Collaborate with various teams (leads, developers, designers, product managers, quality engineers).
• Drive innovation with new ideas for products and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of full-stack Java/Angular development experience.
• Understanding of front-end technologies (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, REST, JSON).
• Knowledge of back-end technologies (Spring, Hibernate, Lucene, SQL).
• Problem-solving skills and ability to mentor others.

Nice-to-haves

• PHP development experience (Laravel, Symphony).
• Mobile application development experience (React Native).
• Familiarity with open-source libraries, tools, frameworks.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud services.
• Experience with agile methodologies (XP, Scrum).
