About The Position

The Sr. Java Developer will play a crucial role in assisting a large global retailer with their ongoing initiatives, specifically within the replenishment team. This position involves transitioning mainframe code to cloud-based applications, focusing on coding new cloud enablement applications from scratch and enhancing existing ones. The developer will work on various projects related to Purchase Order, Enterprise Inventory, Order Well, and Global Replenishing, contributing to the modernization of the company's technology stack.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Java-based Backend Development.
• Proficiency in Java 8/11 and Spring Boot/Spring MVC for building REST APIs and creating microservices.
• Experience with Cassandra or other NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DB2.
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka or Active MQ.
• Experience with GCP or Azure Cloud.

Responsibilities
