About The Position

The Sr. Java Software Developer will be responsible for implementing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure high-quality software delivery. This role involves designing and building microservices using AWS, developing JPA modules for Oracle database interaction, and creating unit tests. The developer will work in an Agile environment, utilizing tools like JIRA and Jenkins, and will collaborate with middleware teams to resolve deployment issues. This position requires a strong background in Java development and experience with various web technologies.

Requirements

• 6 years of progressive experience in software development using Core Java/J2EE.
• 3 years of experience with microservices framework.
• 5 years of experience in web application development.
• Proficiency in Spring framework and JPA.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of experience with React.
• 3+ years of experience with Angular.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS.
• 2+ years of experience with Redis.

Responsibilities

• Implement Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to achieve high-quality software delivery.
• Design and build microservices using AWS.
• Develop JPA modules to interact with Oracle database.
• Create and manage Maven modules and build plans.
• Develop unit test cases using JUnit and Mockito.
• Collaborate with middleware teams to fix deployment issues.
• Utilize GIT for source code management.
• Test RESTful services using POSTMAN and REST Client.
• Perform continuous builds and deployments using Jenkins.
• Deploy WAR files onto Tomcat server and configure JNDI data source.
