About the position

As a Senior Manager of Contract Lifecycle at Brinker, you will assist with the identification and implementation of a new contract lifecycle management (CLM) system. Your long-term focus will be on managing the contract lifecycle, particularly the post-execution obligations of Brinker and its suppliers, ensuring contract compliance, and overseeing contract renewals and terminations. You will coordinate with the procurement team during the initial contract phases to identify, vet, and mitigate risks associated with vendors, while also collaborating with internal business departments to track and manage contract performance.

Responsibilities

  • Join project team researching and vetting new CLM partner; become subject matter expert to support implementation within organization.
  • Support business and procurement teams in utilization and adoption of new CLM and managing initial startup of the CLM software, including importing select legacy documentation.
  • Develop and implement structured processes for vendor accountability to ensure alignment with company performance standards and timelines.
  • Conduct vendor's risk assessment at the onboarding phase in alignment with company security policies, financial stability, and compliance standards.
  • Create offboarding process for vendors that are no longer being used by Brinker.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier obligations, resolve issues and concerns, and maintain accurate records of supplier performance and deliverables.
  • Ensure purchased services meet company specifications, service levels and quality standards.
  • Identify, vet, and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities.
  • Review agreements and partner with legal counsel to evaluate documentation and authorization forms to identify problematic provisions and determine if the minimum requirements are met.
  • Own and monitor key contractual milestones, expiration dates, and renewal opportunities to support proactive pipeline planning and ensure continuity of services.
  • Coordinate meetings and quarterly business reviews between stakeholders, vendors, and Procurement.
  • Partner with leadership and stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives that enhance procurement efficiency, optimize costs, and align vendor performance with organizational goals.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Finance.
  • 7 or more years' experience in a Legal Operations, Sourcing or Procurement related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Proven experience in handling complex firmwide vendor relationships.
  • A thorough understanding of third-party (i.e., vendor, supplier, etc.) risk management, performance monitoring and Procurement processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required along with ability to be highly flexible, strategic, collaborative and adaptable to change.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suites with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; use of existing CLM software a plus.
  • Ability to influence and drive alignment among diverse teams and stakeholders, with strong interpersonal skills that foster collaboration and a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and direct report management experience.
