About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Net-Zero Program is responsible for developing and implementing science-based target programs to assist clients in achieving their net-zero goals. This role involves collaboration with various teams, tracking sustainability performance, and reporting on key trends to support continuous improvement in the client's Net-Zero Program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, climate change, sustainability, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience managing large-scale programs for Fortune 100 corporations.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Expert understanding of SBTi standards, GHG Protocol, CDP, and TCFD.
• Advanced expertise in net-zero program management in real estate.
• Proven record in sustainability program execution under tight timelines.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills across stakeholders.
• Skilled communicator with experience in influencing program strategy.
• Critical thinker with an understanding of processes and interconnections.
• Innovative problem-solver with a collaborative working style.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including presentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute net-zero roadmap across client's global portfolio.
• Prioritize mechanisms to drive carbon reduction, including asset optimization and renewable energy strategies.
• Serve as the single point of contact for strategy and tactical delivery of the net-zero program.
• Accountable for the complete lifecycle of program delivery and implementation.
• Interface with real estate leadership and various teams to drive program delivery and communicate progress.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build consensus and translate challenges into a robust program approach.
• Advocate for the program vision and balance business needs with corporate goals.
• Manage change processes and ensure effective communication of changes.
• Develop governance structure for the Net-Zero Program and communicate progress using appropriate metrics.
• Track and report on global sustainability metrics, including GHG emissions and ESG compliance.
• Maintain a publishing schedule of key information and conduct review sessions with stakeholders.
• Understand downstream impacts of changes to standards and mitigate accordingly.
• Stay informed on global sustainability trends and integrate best practices into the program.
• Identify gaps in sustainability practices and drive improvements, including drafting new policies.
• Develop community engagement programs aligned with Net Zero goals.
• Act as a subject matter expert to educate stakeholders on Net Zero requests.
