About the position

The Sr. Manager Plant Fulfillment Leader for Project Kuiper Manufacturing Operations is responsible for overseeing cross value stream fulfillment operations within the manufacturing plant. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient, timely, and high-quality delivery of products to customers, particularly in the aerospace sector. The position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to drive operational excellence and embody Amazon's Leadership Principles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single threaded owner for driving cross value stream execution coordination within Kuiper's satellite manufacturing plant
• Lead and manage a team that includes production coordinators, schedulers, and expeditors
• Oversee daily plant operations to ensure timely and accurate production and material movement between production lines
• Coordinate between production, quality assurance, and logistics to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for plant fulfillment processes
• Embody Amazon's Leadership Principles to achieve and sustain operational excellence
• Participate as a key member of the production leadership team

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or another relevant field
• 7+ years of experience in operations management within the aerospace industry
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
