About the position

The Senior Manager for IT Strategic Procurement at Lucid is responsible for leading procurement engagements related to hardware and software, focusing on acquiring and negotiating third-party contracts. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial and operational benefits while managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The position also emphasizes transformational leadership in implementing IT procurement strategies that align with business objectives and drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage procurement engagements for IT hardware and software.
  • Acquire, structure, and negotiate third-party contracts for computer hardware and software products.
  • Serve as a strategic procurement subject matter expert, partnering with business leaders and risk managers.
  • Facilitate the development and maintenance of long-term vendor relationships.
  • Establish systems and processes to enhance overall quality and compliance.
  • Review and monitor supplier contract performance and compliance.
  • Negotiate modifications to agreements as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships, tracking spend and performance.
  • Manage the selection process for IT products based on user requirements and business strategy.
  • Support procurement activities for IT categories, ensuring alignment with technology roadmaps.
  • Implement IT procurement strategies for scalable and secure technology solutions.
  • Negotiate IT contracts to optimize costs and improve service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in strategic procurement, focusing on IT categories.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex supplier relationships.
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, and program management skills.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams with a collaborative leadership style.
  • Proficiency in procurement tools and systems, with advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations relevant to procurement activities.
