Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the IT Governance Leaders and the IT Risk and Controls teams to identify system vulnerabilities, assess security risks, and align policy and standard requirements with our governance frameworks.
  • Focus on shaping and maintaining technology and cybersecurity standards to ensure the security of our computer networks and sensitive information.
  • Continuous awareness of new technologies that impact Schwab's technology footprint to ensure timely updates to our standard library.
  • Engage with standard owners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and refine standard requirements, ensuring that they meet the highest industry standards and the best practices.
  • Create and manage project schedules, adeptly managing deadlines, and effectively communicating and adapting to shifting priorities when necessary.
  • Monitor compliance deadlines, assess compliance readiness, and perform thorough quality checks on materials submitted for reviews by Standard Advisory Committee (SAC) and Executive Committee (EC).
  • Work closely with the First Line Risk Management Office (1RMO) to ensure our processes comply with enterprise governance requirements.
  • Maintain the integrity and consistency of our documentation libraries in SharePoint, Teams, and Confluence while continuously enhancing and streamlining complex processes by applying advanced PowerShell scripting and automation techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Engineering (any), or related field.
  • 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor's related experience.
  • Experience in Corporate Risk Management Audits.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks ITIL and NIST.
  • Experience in Endpoint related Cybersecurity and Technology Operations including Crowdstrike, CarbonBlack, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, and Splunk Enterprise.
  • Knowledge of Endpoint management infrastructure lifecycle management including Microsoft Configuration Manager, Endpoint Manager, BMC Marimba, HCL BigFix, and BMC Remedy.
  • Experience in enterprise software distribution, patch/vulnerability management, OS deployment and license management, Active Directory, and SQL Server Management.
  • Familiarity with virtualization and cloud technologies including VMWare, Microsoft365, Azure, AWS, and GCP.
