About the position

We are currently recruiting highly qualified candidates, whose background and career goals meet our needs, for the following position in our Huntsville, AL facility. Please note that due to our Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequences and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies while providing production engineering support services directly to manufacturing.
• Designs, modifies and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through prototype and qualification builds to production release.
• Serves as a central resource with the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and product development groups as the product(s) move to completion and distribution.
• Promotes investigation and application of new manufacturing technologies and industry trends into manufacturing activities.
• Provides engineering support to other departments as needed, train junior engineering personnel by mentoring junior Engineers and technicians, provide management support and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 8+ years' experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or years of experience in lieu of degree
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to Department of Defense contract requirements.
