About the position

The Lead to Opportunity Specialist is a key member of the Go-To-Market team at Alteryx, focusing on optimizing processes and systems during the lead to opportunity phase of the customer journey. This remote-friendly role integrates process management, marketing technology, and data analytics to enhance marketing operations, ensuring efficient lead follow-up and improving lead conversion and pipeline efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine marketing processes aimed at enhancing the lead to opportunity phase, aligned with broader business objectives.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to select, implement, and optimize CRM and marketing automation tools to enhance lead tracking and conversion.
  • Analyze lead conversion effectiveness, using data-driven insights for improvement.
  • Partner across teams to ensure lead follow-up processes are efficient, understood, and adhered to with proper SLA monitoring and governance.
  • Conduct lead segmentation analysis and optimize target audience efficiency and accuracy in collaboration with data science and sales teams.
  • Ensure accurate conversion of leads to opportunities, track and manage conversion processes, and identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
  • Lead marketing workflow improvements, emphasizing campaign management and lead nurturing processes.
  • Support data integrity in the CRM and ensure compliance with internal policies for lead to opportunity conversion processes.
  • Establish and maintain KPIs specific to the lead to opportunity phase and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Drive change within marketing operations, promoting new tools and practices to enhance lead to opportunity efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience focusing on marketing process management and technology.
  • Experience in managing product development from conception through market launch, particularly aligning with the lead to opportunity phase.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively negotiate and manage stakeholder expectations.
