About The Position

The Sr. Manager in Program Finance at L3Harris is responsible for overseeing Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and EAC SOX Compliance for the BCS Sector. This role is crucial in ensuring financial performance of programs, requiring collaboration with various stakeholders and a proactive approach to problem-solving and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing complex financial tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience using SAP & Power BI.
  • Knowledge of government contracts, funding profiles, sales outlook and variance analysis preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Cobra and Empower.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Experience managing the financials for complex programs and businesses.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership experience.
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance.
  • Certifications such as PMP, EVMP or similar.
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Expertise in understanding and using Earned Value Management concepts and processes.
  • Experience with risk management, financial management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and an ability to communicate information to customers as well as the program management team and senior management.
  • Previous experience working with DCMA in an auditing and compliance role.
  • SOX Compliance experience.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert for Earned Value Management.
  • Manage the tools and compliance efforts for Program Finance.
  • Direct and manage the EVMS training plan including preparation of and conducting training.
  • Lead process improvement efforts designed to increase accuracy and reduce preparation times of program financial reports.
  • Lead and assist in DCMA audits.
  • Manage the maintenance and enhancement of the EV Toolset.
  • Support corporate financial audits.
