About the position

The Sr Mulesoft Application Developer will play a crucial role in the development and integration of enterprise services using MuleSoft. This position involves collaborating within an Agile framework, applying API-led connectivity concepts, and participating in the delivery of integration projects across various business domains. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and configuring APIs, as well as supporting the existing technical stack and architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates within the Agile framework, fostering a team approach to software development and delivery.
  • Applies API-led connectivity concepts to business initiatives to help achieve program goals.
  • Configures APIs, API portals, proxy endpoints, and API analytics based on technical specifications with MuleSoft API manager.
  • Designs and develops enterprise services using RAML in Mule, REST-based APIs, SOAP Web Services, and various Mule connectors.
  • Participates in the delivery of integration projects across multiple business domains.
  • Documents designs, operational tasks/issues, and solutions as needed.
  • Conceptualizes new products, features, or components and tests new technologies or features through Proof of Concept (POC).
  • Develops unit tests and provides code coverage to accurately test business logic and functionality.
  • Supports existing technical stack, architecture, and codebase.
  • Participates in teams on call.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience in MuleSoft development.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience in SQL in a professional setting.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using Jenkins, Maven, Git, or comparable toolsets.
  • Working knowledge of Middleware, Mule ESB, and strong knowledge of SOA with experience in designing Mule Interfaces.
  • Working knowledge of MuleSoft inbound/outbound connectors, such as Web Services, File, Database, Salesforce, JMS, AWS services, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, Lambda).
  • Prior experience in Java and GitActions is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems, or a High School Diploma/GED with relevant work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Scrum master experience working with POs and RTEs to align roadmap deliverables.
  • Prior experience on Informatica platform and/or AWS Glue is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and inter-personal communication skills.
  • MuleSoft certification.
  • Healthcare/Health insurance domain knowledge.
