Responsibilities

  • Support capital projects and implement solutions for clients.
  • Design and implement integrated process related projects including design, process equipment selection, and installation specifications.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships, process electrical/control, and instrumentation design integration.
  • Oversee construction management and start-up support for projects.
  • Manage all aspects of integrated design build process related projects in the range of $2MM to $10MM.
  • Lead project teams, develop proposals and presentations, and manage project budgets and forecasting.
  • Handle equipment procurement, schedule management, project engineering, and site management/installation support.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial project engineering experience involving process and related automation applications.
  • Experience in the food, dairy, beverage/brewery, industrial or personal care industries is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of process flow diagrams, piping & instrument diagrams, mass & heat balances, basic piping system design, pump sizing, and material handling methods.
  • Practical understanding of sanitary design and construction methods, and knowledge of process electrical/control and instrumentation design integration is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and basic understanding of project management fundamentals.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Revit & AutoCAD).
  • Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for project requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred but consideration will be given to other engineering degrees based on actual experience.
