About the position
Wolfspeed is looking for an experienced Process Engineer for this multifaceted position. Successful candidates will have hands-on experience in the semiconductor process. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced, deadline-oriented atmosphere and be capable and willing to work in a team of scientists, engineers and technicians to improve factory capability and manufacturability.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data using statistical methods (SPC, DOE) to drive process, efficiency, and quality improvements
- Manage and document manufacturing process flows, control plans, etc., requiring clear written and verbal communication skills
- Drive cohesive learning and cross functional problem solving, yield improvement, and process optimization
- Exhibit strong communication skills to ensure crisp and effective execution on projects
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Equivalent
- Experience in Process or Integration Engineer in a semiconductor environment
- Understanding of the science and technology needed to fabricate semiconductor devices including ion implantation, oxide growth, diffusion, photolithography, wet and dry etch, thin film deposition and metal deposition
