About the position

As a Senior Product Designer on our client's team, you will play a pivotal role in designing enterprise-level products that optimize productivity within the pharmacy sector. This position involves maintaining and designing pharmacy inventory systems, ensuring a seamless experience across both desktop and mobile platforms. The vision for the pharmacy at our client is evolving, aiming to position their pharmacies as holistic healthcare providers. Stakeholders are currently defining the necessary tools to enable pharmacists to provide care remotely, making the role crucial in this transformation. A strong background in healthcare design is essential for this position. In this high-level role, you will be expected to maintain design consistency across various product lines while keeping the big picture in mind. Your responsibilities will include creating quality final product deliverables such as user flows, user journeys, wireframes, and final visual compositions. You will perform detailed analyses of business and user needs, developing clear UX documentation with provided templates. Ensuring that all designs adhere to the established enterprise-level Design System is critical, and you may recommend changes to styles and patterns as necessary. You will actively participate in and contribute to internal bi-weekly design reviews, as well as leadership design reviews, where you will present and defend your concepts with concrete tactical rationale. Collaboration is key in this role; you will work daily with product managers, product owners, business analysts, system analysts, and scrum teams to ensure quality and consistency in the design process.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-level products with a focus on productivity optimization.
• Maintain and design pharmacy inventory systems for both desktop and mobile experiences.
• Create quality final product deliverables including user flows, user journeys, wireframes, and visual compositions.
• Perform detailed analysis of business and user needs, developing clear UX documentation.
• Ensure all designs align with the established enterprise-level Design System and recommend changes as necessary.
• Participate in and present designs during internal and leadership design reviews, defending concepts with tactical rationale.
• Collaborate daily with product managers, product owners, business analysts, system analysts, and scrum teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience in designing multiple products simultaneously while maintaining design consistency.
• Experience creating final UX deliverables, including user flows, user journeys, and visual artifacts.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and roadmap planning tools.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external partners effectively.
• Experience working collaboratively across disciplines.
• Strong analytical skills to identify issues, trends, and exceptions to drive improvements.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and leading efforts to improve processes.
• Ability to adapt to changes related to product needs and scope.
• Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills, including prioritizing and organizing multiple projects with varying deadlines.
• Demonstrated oral, written, and visual communication skills.
