Sr. Product Designer

About the position

PayPal is seeking a Senior Product Designer focused on Peer-to-Peer money movement experiences within the PayPal App, Web, and Partnership surfaces. This role is part of the Experience Design department, which encompasses various product design specialties. The department is dedicated to evolving the PayPal experience beyond core transactions into new realms of the end-to-end commerce journey. The Senior Product Designer will work within a multi-disciplined team to deliver strategically sound design solutions, focusing on features such as Peer to Peer sending and receiving, Money Pools, Bill Splits, Crypto Sharing, and Currency Exchanges.

Responsibilities

• Focus on the craft and design output for PayPal products.
• Deliver strategically sound design solutions based on defined requirements.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to solve critical problems.
• Create detailed UX flows, visual designs, site maps, and user interface designs.
• Conduct experiential design audits and journey maps for end-to-end experiences.
• Package design work into compelling presentations that outline problems, strategic points of view, and design explorations.
• Think in system and scale terms to preserve and advance the product design system.

Requirements

• Exceptional fundamental craft in UX flows, visual design, and user interface design.
• Strong awareness of interaction design and cultural trends.
• Experience in product definition and concept design work.
• Ability to transform complexity into simple, functional product design experiences.
• Strong presentation skills to communicate design concepts effectively.
