About the position

The Senior Product Manager for Strategy and Portfolio Planning at Bracco Medical Technologies will lead global upstream marketing efforts for the cardiovascular product line, focusing on PCI Optimization. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of the company by analyzing market trends, understanding customer needs, and driving product strategy and development.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze global market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new product and market opportunities, defining 'where to play' and shaping the portfolio strategy.
  • Conduct primary and secondary market research, including clinical trend analysis and engagement with KOLs, Advisory Boards, and regional teams, to define customer needs and product requirements.
  • Assess market opportunities through segmentation, access, margin, and strategic alignment. Develop market models and build compelling business cases for portfolio investments.
  • Direct product life cycle management, End of Life, and next generation planning.
  • Partner with R&D, clinical, regulatory, global regions, and operations to support portfolio strategy and product development initiatives.
  • Develop and manage a claims matrix and evidence plan to support commercial market entry and future pipeline discussions.
  • Facilitate hands-on product demonstrations and presentations for physicians, supporting ongoing pipeline and product discussions.
  • Own customer input, market data and development of the strategic direction of product roadmap.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in product management, particularly in medical devices or healthcare technology.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
  • Experience in conducting market research and engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business cases and assess market opportunities.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working with R&D, clinical, and regulatory teams.
