Sr. Product Owner (Insurance)

About the position

Piper Companies is currently seeking a Sr. Product Owner (Insurance) for an award winning company located in Durham, North Carolina. The Sr. Product Owner (Insurance) must work a hybrid schedule being onsite in the office 3 days a week. The Sr. Product Owner (Insurance) will work closely with several stakeholders to achieve the common goal of successfully delivering new products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exciting and functional features with the development team
• Collaborate with other key team members in order to better processes and performance
• Provide streamlined performance demos to both technical and business stakeholders
• Leverage mentorship to peers while communicating effectively with your team on key deliverables, prioritization, and business and marketing context

Requirements

• Ability to work a hybrid schedule - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
• 4+ years' experience as a Product Owner
• Experience managing the backlog
• Industry experience within insurance or annuities
• Experience within an Agile environment
• Excellent communication and presentation qualities
• Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant work experience
