Sr. Product UI/UX Designer

About the position

As the Sr. Product UI/UX Designer, you will have an exciting opportunity to design world-class, intuitive user experiences that help users interact with and understand their shot data through a custom piece of hardware, ensuring seamless integration between hardware and software. You will develop design frameworks and interfaces that provide a cohesive and consistent experience across both physical hardware and software platforms (e.g., mobile, tablets, sim screens, desktops).

Responsibilities

• Design world-class, intuitive user experiences for hardware interaction.
• Develop design frameworks and interfaces for cohesive experiences across hardware and software.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to enhance physical hardware functionality through UI/UX design.
• Create design concepts and prototypes for physical interactions with hardware.
• Conduct usability testing and user research to optimize design for real-world use.
• Design for various form factors to ensure optimal experiences across different hardware designs.
• Work through multiple stages of ideation, from sketching to post-launch validation.
• Engage with users to understand their goals and pain points in interacting with the product.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and hardware specialists.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree at a minimum.
• 8+ years of design experience with a focus on hardware/software integration.
• Proficiency with Figma or equivalent design tools.
• Exceptional UI design skills with attention to detail in physical device interactions.
• Deep understanding of user journeys across hardware and software.
• Experience leading UI/UX strategies for consistent user interactions.
• Proven ability to collaborate with hardware engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Passion for gathering insights to enhance user experience with physical and digital components.
