About the position

As a Senior Program Manager at Micron Technology, you will be responsible for working with leadership teams to manage projects and programs for the People Organization including change management. You will be responsible for managing programs that consist of multiple complex projects to achieve specific business goals and objectives while ensuring balance in allocation of resources. You will ensure accurate design and tracking of programs to predict results and outcomes critical to success. Analysis of program progress in terms of root cause analysis, risk, resources consumption, interdependencies and gaps are also key functions of the program manager responsibilities. Additional responsibilities include fostering a culture of continuous improvement within our People Organization strategy processes by driving alignment with corporate strategy processes. They will find opportunities to improve processes, implement proven methods, and adhere to industry standards, while promoting collaboration across different teams to improve innovation and efficiency. Additionally, they will manage change initiatives to help teams adapt to evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead M&A Activities within Human Resources
  • Provide leadership and direction for selected Programs in which you are leading
  • Manage all aspects of a given program, from benefits identification and requirements gathering to implementation and benefits realization
  • Lead cross-functional meetings fostering teamwork and drive escalation and resolution of issues
  • Ensure that the scope of the projects within the program is aligned with business priorities
  • Support and coach stakeholders within the programs
  • Proactively set performance expectations and help manage expectations around delivery and requirements, yielding consistent results
  • Coach, mentor, share and engage with program/project managers throughout Human Resources, which at times may require either global travel and/or flexibility to work early mornings and late nights

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of global project/program management experience, preferred experience leading complex M&A activities within Human Resources
  • Proven ability to build and lead globally integrated teams from various internal and external organizations
  • Adept at helping team members harness and develop strengths in pursuit of program outcomes
  • Ability to promote innovative ideas and accept the risks that are required to lead change
  • Ability to translate broad general concepts into tangible deliverables
  • Independent decision making and ability to assume higher-level leadership responsibilities in critical situations
  • Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and financial skills
  • Ability to influence others using a variety of approaches with or without position power
  • Break down large concepts into small deliverables while keeping the end strategy very clear
  • Comfort in dealing with ambiguity
  • Effective consultative and influencing approach
