About the position

The Senior Projects Support Engineer at FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation provides remote technical, applications, and system administration support for healthcare customers. This role involves managing and executing operational and billable projects, addressing complex technical issues, and mentoring new team members. The position requires flexibility to work outside normal business hours to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage turnover to service audits from various internal teams.
  • Manage and administrate MI service operational applications such as Automate, Control, XTAM, and SecureLink.
  • Manage back-end reporting processes to assist in license compliance.
  • Oversee billable projects handled by the TAC.
  • Maintain and manage multiple SalesForce queues to assist overall TAC goals.
  • Work with Sales and other internal teams to pass profitable opportunities to TAC.
  • Assess hardware, software, and network-related issues on customer systems and provide solutions through remote troubleshooting and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Provide advanced support and guidance to Customer Support Engineers and other staff.
  • Liaise with engineering development and support staff to analyze product malfunctions and assist with escalations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external groups to solve complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Document problems and solutions in a product knowledge database.
  • Assist in developing troubleshooting guides, bulletins, and software files for existing products.
  • Stay compliant with all regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Participate in customer site visits as necessary.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of current medical imaging products and technologies through continuous education.
  • Travel on short notice or overnight as required to work on customer systems.
  • Work cross-functionally and handle other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a high level of success with Key Performance Indicators related to customer satisfaction, availability, timely support case closures, and project completion.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of industry-related professional experience.
  • ConnectWise Certification for Automate.
  • Advanced working knowledge of current network technologies.
  • Ability to achieve results and meet goals in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, excellent phone manner.
  • Ability to make independent decisions based on technology data and product knowledge.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of Windows OS (Microsoft Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022+), networking, SQL Server, and Oracle.
  • Advanced knowledge of Synapse workflows and their implementations.
  • Advanced knowledge in Synapse application front end.
  • Advanced knowledge of medical informatics hardware (VMWare and Storage Solutions).
  • Experience with clinical data transfer protocols and interfaces (HL7 and DICOM).
  • Industry-specific certifications in relevant technical background (Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco certifications).
  • Security Certifications (Security + or equivalent).
