Nintendo of America Inc. is seeking a dynamic individual to lead retail marketing activities for hardware, software, accessories, product launches, promotional sales offers, and campaign plans. This role is pivotal in managing the production and development process of point of purchase (POP) signage placed at retail locations. The successful candidate will provide merchandising direction to Nintendo Brand Ambassadors and third-party teams, ensuring that all marketing materials align with brand guidelines and creative direction. This includes performing creative reviews on retailer-implemented in-store and online tactics, such as onsite banners, in-store signage, online brand pages, full-page flyers, and holiday promotions. The position requires managing retail marketing projects from inception to completion. This encompasses collaboration with design teams, vendor communication, budget tracking, coordination of shipping and receiving, and providing direction for installation while reporting on results. The candidate will work closely with internal Nintendo stakeholders, National Account Managers, and retailers to implement unique and innovative in-store retail initiatives, semi-permanent branding opportunities, and online retail projects. Effective communication with internal departments, vendors, external partners, and senior leadership regarding project status, timelines, and legal requirements is essential. Additionally, the role involves leading the end-to-end creation and management of giveaways, gift-with-purchase promotions, and consumer handouts such as brochures and flyers. The candidate will procure and develop necessary in-store display materials to support product launches and ongoing sales, including title sheets, display boxes, and empty cases. They will also create requisitions for retail projects and manage the entire purchase order process. Tracking all campaign budgets and expenditures for launches and below-the-line activities is a critical responsibility. The candidate will act as a liaison between Nintendo Latin America (NLA) and internal Nintendo of America (NOA) stakeholders, including Consumer Marketing, Design, Retail, Legal, Finance, Licensing, and Product Development groups. Furthermore, managing day-to-day activities for multiple external agencies, including creative, media planning, and trade-level/Point of Sale (POS) as needed, is part of the role.
