SR RF Test Engineer for FCC - CE Regulatory Compliance

About the position

We are currently seeking ISO 17025 FCC - CE - EMC Regulatory Compliance RF Test Engineers to join our team at CT, Arizona's oldest and largest regulatory test lab. This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, including retired test engineers. The role requires previous experience as a Regulatory Test Engineer in RF, specifically in RF Testing, Radiated, Conducted Emissions & Immunity EMC/EMI. Candidates should be familiar with various test standards including EN 300 328, EN 300 330, EN 300 489-17, EN 55032, EN 55035, and FCC CFR Parts 2, 15, 22, 24, 27, 80, 87, 90, and MM Wave. As a key member of the RF SME test team, you will have ample opportunities for growth and promotion in your career path. You will work closely with the Lab Manager and Lab Supervisor, supporting the Technical Sales Team and contributing to the overall success of our projects. Responsibilities

• Perform testing to regulatory standards on a wide variety of devices
• Support Technical Sales Team in validating test standards and generating test plans
• Participate in ongoing quarterly tech trainings
• Prepare and oversee internal and external projects
• Troubleshoot failing devices
• Maintain record keeping and test data entry on projects
• Interact with clients throughout the testing process
• Collaborate with management on growth strategy, hiring, training, and planning

Requirements

• 5+ years prior RF Testing experience at an ISO 17025 Test Lab
• Experience testing to FCC standards and ETSI, Red Directives
• Ability to legally work in the United States
• High detail-oriented and accuracy focused
• Effective listening, communication, and logic skills
• Tech savvy with business tools like Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook, Google Drive, Microsoft Teams
• Programming experience with TILE or Python is a plus
• Accountability, integrity, character, and ethics

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with FCC parts including 15b, 15c, 15e, 15.247, 22, 24, 27, 90
• Knowledge of EU RED and EMC Directives
• Basic knowledge of industry associations such as GCF, PTCRB, CTIA, Wi-Fi Alliance, BT SIG, LoRa Alliance
