About the position

The Senior Software Engineer will play a crucial role in transforming the technology landscape at Travelers. This position involves advanced software engineering tasks, including designing, developing, and implementing solutions based on user specifications. The individual will act as a subject matter expert, providing technical leadership and consulting with users to determine system requirements. Responsibilities

• Perform complex analysis and advanced level design for impactful tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Three years of programming/development experience.
• Five years of programming/development experience preferred.
• Advanced delivery skills in software design strategy and methodology.
• Demonstrated domain expertise and ability to influence business priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills using data and proofs of concepts.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technology concepts clearly.
• Advanced leadership skills to inspire and motivate team members.
