About the position
The Sr Specialist, Technology Strategy and Delivery at Pilot Company is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that align with enterprise goals. This role focuses on enhancing engagement with the enterprise, enabling efficient work processes, and delivering business value through technology. The position requires staying updated with industry trends, working with executive leadership on strategic direction, and influencing teams to adopt new operational methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement ways of working that align with enterprise goals.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic direction of technology.
- Work with executive leadership to identify technology operating model strategic direction.
- Create operating model diagrams and standard operating procedures.
- Create org charts, graphs and other visuals as needed.
- Influence and coach teams on how to adopt new ways of working.
- Conduct technology team assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Create, analyze, and track performance metrics of technology teams.
- Assist teams in best-practices for tracking team metrics.
- Work with Development and Infrastructure teams to bridge knowledge gaps and assist in establishing a DevSecOps way of working.
- Track and drive progress on key initiatives/projects relating to strategic direction of technology.
- Collaborate with IT Service Management, DevSecOps, Data, and other teams to build platform catalog for self-service of technology and business teams.
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- Degree in technology, engineering, or business-related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in technology.
