Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end M&A processes, including deal preparation, due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, negotiation, and completion.
  • Lead and supervise the preparation and review of detailed transaction reports, ensuring they meet the highest standards of accuracy and clarity.
  • Lead multiple project teams, ensuring all engagements are completed on schedule, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align M&A strategies with broader corporate objectives and ensure smooth post-transaction integration.
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with key clients, legal advisors, and other stakeholders involved in the M&A process.
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of proposals and presentations for new business and continuous client engagement, enhancing firm's market position and growth.
  • Identify and solicit prospective investors and buyers for M&A.
  • Identify business development opportunities through internal and external client relationships, as well as key issues and potential areas of transaction risk.
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.
  • Oversee the preparation of information memorandum, detailed financial models, valuations, and forecasts to assess the feasibility of transactions.
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards throughout the M&A process.
  • Communicate complex financial information and strategic insights effectively to senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives and board members.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment to identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets or potential buyers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business from a reputable university (local or overseas) with a minimum GPA of 3.00 (Master's degree in Finance is preferred).
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in M&A advisory or investment banking, preferably with a background in a Big 4 firm.
  • Proven track record in M&A advisory and project finance across all project stages.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and the ability to diagnose project problems, develop solutions, and facilitate decision-making.
  • Strong client communication skills and experience in managing client expectations and team leadership.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
  • Experience in external consulting or financial advisory roles.
  • Flexibility to meet travel requirements for client service engagements as needed.
