The Senior Technical Writer - Finance at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) plays a crucial role in supporting the Finance Department, particularly the Office of Management and Budget Services (OMBS). The Technical Writer is expected to be an effective communicator, both orally and in writing, and will need to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable documents for various audiences. This position requires a high level of organization and the ability to meet deadlines, as well as the capability to manage multiple reviews of documents and project status reports. The incumbent will also be responsible for producing communications in multiple formats, from concept to execution, and will need to stay abreast of developments relevant to WMATA's policies and programs.
