About the position

Wealthfront is seeking a staff content designer to lead the vision for its investing product, focusing on creating a financial system that prioritizes individuals over institutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and language for a new ecosystem of investment products, ensuring a seamless and empowering user experience. The ideal candidate will be a systems-thinker and exceptional writer, passionate about content design and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop the strategy, vision, and language for the investing product ecosystem.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product design, user research, product management, engineering, legal, and compliance.
• Support and empower other content designers to enhance their impact throughout the product development cycle.
• Introduce content frameworks and methodologies to improve team craft and strategic thinking.
• Shape product experiences that address a holistic set of investing needs and improve financial outcomes for clients.
• Partner with the creative brand team to establish and maintain the brand voice and tone across product experiences.

Requirements

• 6 to 10 years of content design experience in a consumer software company, preferably in financial technology.
• Exceptional product thinking and ability to drive high-quality decision-making.
• A portfolio demonstrating solutions to content challenges that enhance customer experiences for web and mobile.
• Mastery of content standards and best practices for web and mobile interfaces.
• Experience in fast-paced consumer tech environments, delivering high-quality products.
