About the position

The Staff Electrical Architect will lead the electrical design of Form Energy's Gen 2 product as part of the Advanced Product Development team. This role involves collaborating with various teams to evaluate design concepts and ensure operational performance targets are met while maintaining high reliability and cost-effectiveness. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative energy storage solutions that support a clean energy future.

Responsibilities

• Work with Product Architecture and Performance teams to define requirements.
• Design electrical systems that will be the foundation of Form Energy's Gen 2 product.
• Perform hands-on prototyping of designs and collaborate with broader teams to build integrated prototypes.
• Run and analyze trials to inform specifications and future design direction.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering for Energy Storage systems.
• Experience taking products from concept through field deployment.
• MS or higher in Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
