About the position
As a Staff Product Designer on the DashPass team at DoorDash, you will drive the strategy across several initiatives aimed at creating and evolving our membership benefits. You'll craft experiences that showcase our expanding portfolio of services, including premium delivery from restaurants and local businesses, exclusive discounts and perks, partner benefits spanning rideshare, entertainment, and more, as well as members-only features that enhance the core DoorDash experience. You will work closely with partners across Product, Data, and User Research to understand the customer's problems and define customer-first solutions that help increase the consumer value of the membership. You will uniquely be responsible for up-leveling the craft and visual execution of the team by defining the DashPass visual language and system within the app. You will report into the Senior Design Manager, DashPass on our Consumer Design team in our Product Design organization. You will have a hybrid work model, with a mix of in-office and remote work. We are looking for candidates near our tech hubs in the SF Bay Area or New York.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- 7+ years of work experience in product design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing high craft outputs in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain a high bar for craft at scale.
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills to articulate complex topics clearly to stakeholders.

- Experience leading new initiatives in product design.
- A 'first principles' approach to design.
