Staff Product Designer, Employer

About the position

As a Staff Product Designer on the Employer team, you will design experiences to help employers build strong early-career hiring programs. Your role will be pivotal in helping Handshake scale its self-serve subscription business. You will organize, craft, and iterate on large, strategic design initiatives, using data and research to form your product vision. Collaborating closely with cross-functional partners, you will ship and iterate on products that make a real impact for our customers and business. Your experience in designing and shipping products that customers love will be essential as you work to bring clarity and simplicity to both process and product.

Responsibilities

• Organize, craft, and iterate on large, strategic design initiatives using data and research.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ship and iterate on products.
• Raise the bar on culture, operations, and execution of design work.
• Strengthen the product organization's ability to experiment, iterate, and learn.
• Inform creative direction and information architecture alongside design leaders.

Requirements

• Experience designing and shipping products for mobile and desktop.
• Ability to articulate the design process from strategy to execution.
• Skill in integrating data, research, business goals, and customer needs into solutions.
• Strong design skills to bring clarity and simplicity to processes and products.
• A humble and kind attitude with a desire to keep learning.
