As a Staff Product Designer, you are empowered to influence outcomes in the backbone of the American economy that ultimately, even in the age of AI, still comes down to good people doing honest work. We’re looking for a thoughtful, talented, and mission driven Product Designer to join our growing team, shape our product, and help establish a design centered culture across the company. Your work will help professionals to gain additional skills, earn extra income, and run their businesses more efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Take high level product ideas from conception through execution, across web and mobile.
- Work across a wide range of areas - product strategy, user research, and UX/UI design.
- Play a key role in defining design quality and vision of our pro-facing mobile app (7 Million + users).
- Take joint ownership of metrics and strategy with the product team.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and operations to achieve goals.
- Implement the design tools and processes needed to build the foundation of a high functioning, world-class design team.
- Mentor our team of product designers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of Product Design across web and mobile.
- Up to date on the latest AI technology and have been trying out different tools that help give builders superpowers.
- Prior experience setting and delivering on a strategy you crafted, where you were accountable for the outcomes.
- Excited about building a strong design foundation within our team.
- Eager to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to ship products and features our users love.
- Part of a high functioning product and design team with a knack for user research and UX design.
- Ready to take ownership of our design process and the end-to-end designs of the most critical areas of our product.
- Mastery of Figma and very comfortable with SQL.
Nice-to-haves
- 3+ years of experience managing Design Teams.
- Experience working on growth teams and/or marketplace businesses.
