Responsibilities

• Take a higher order problem and define it clearly and design a system to solve it.
• Partner with Product Owners, stakeholders, and engineers in building the solution.
• Inspire the engineers with your hands on approach and innovative solutions to solve the problem.
• Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.).
• Implement software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs.
• Identify opportunities to simplify existing systems and evolve them to become better.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite.
• Help us build scalable and reliable cloud computing solutions to support the rapid growth of our SaaS products.
• Solve tough technical challenges in a high energy, startup like environment with experienced industry leaders and with a highly collaborative team.
• Design, implement, test, and deploy scalable Cloud Computing solutions as part of the Cloud development team.

Requirements

• Good foundation in distributed systems with proven experience designing and architecting systems.
• Experience building products and framework.
• Excellent experience in object-oriented design and backend programming (Java, JavaScript, Python and/or Golang).
• Deep understanding of database technologies.
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline.
• Analytical and design skills.
• Experience with agile development tools and practices.
• Prior experience in solving problems at systems level, ideally in a private or public Cloud environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
