About the position
The Staffing Scheduler is responsible for managing schedules and shift vacancies in Skilled Nursing, Memory Support, and Assisted Living. This role ensures that all shifts are covered based on the schedule and census, addressing call-ins, scheduled vacations, and other issues as they arise. Additionally, the position involves coordinating Central Supply by conducting research, obtaining pricing information, ordering, receiving, and storing supplies. The Staffing Scheduler also participates in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage schedules and shift vacancies in Skilled Nursing, Memory Support, and Assisted Living.
- Ensure all shifts are covered based on schedule and census due to call-ins, scheduled vacations, and other issues.
- Coordinate Central Supply by conducting research, obtaining pricing information, ordering, receiving, and storing supplies.
- Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
Requirements
- One year of staffing experience using a scheduling software system.
- Familiarity with scheduling nursing shifts is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing conditions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D required.
