About The Position

The Print Binding and Finishing Worker at Tenneco is responsible for setting up and operating various types of machinery to produce high-quality automotive parts. This role involves ensuring that machinery is properly adjusted and maintained to meet production standards while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Ability to set up and operate various types of machines/presses.
• Normal dexterity required.
• Previous set-up experience or training required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various types of machinery.
• Perform various type set-up functions including dies and feed adjustments.
• Make adjustments as required to ensure quality pieces are produced.
• Check all safety features to ensure they are working properly.
• Set up fixtures for feeding and loading/unloading devices.
• Run piece parts and check for accurate set-up.
• Produce a quality part.
• Maintain accurate piece counts and keep records such as time cards and set-up cards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
