About The Position

The Stewarding Supervisor at The St. Anthony Hotel is responsible for leading the Kitchen Stewarding Team, ensuring compliance with food handling and sanitation standards, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and supplies. This role is crucial for supporting the kitchen operations and ensuring a smooth workflow in a luxury hotel environment.

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience as a Dishwasher / Steward preferred.
  • Previous kitchen experience preferred.
  • Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Manages all equipment, china, glass, and silver, ensuring adequate clean supplies of each.
  • Enforces proper use and cleaning of all dish room machinery.
  • Enforces proper cleaning routines for serviceware, equipment, floors, etc.
  • Assists with china, glass, and silver inventories.
  • Provides feedback to individuals based on observation of service behaviors.
  • Ensures all food holding and transport equipment is in working order.
  • Supervises associates' ability to follow loss prevention policies to prevent accidents and control costs.
