About the position

As a Store Director at Albertsons, you will lead the store's operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and compliance with company policies. Your role will involve overseeing sales and profit objectives, managing store standards, and fostering community engagement while developing your team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer service initiatives to meet and exceed goals.
  • Manage overall store operations, implementing merchandising and sales initiatives.
  • Oversee safety committee activities and ensure compliance with health and safety initiatives.
  • Maintain high store conditions, product quality, and compliance with labeling and code date standards through daily inspections and coaching.
  • Direct the hiring and training of store personnel, providing guidance and monitoring performance.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, inventory control, and budget management to safeguard company assets.
  • Foster positive community relations and maintain communication with manufacturers, corporate personnel, and local stakeholders.
  • Review and approve department schedules to ensure adequate staffing and compliance with labor laws.
