About the position

This job posting is for any of the store hourly positions below: Store Driver, Salesperson, Retail Parts Pro, Commercial Parts Pro, Manager in Training. Each role has specific responsibilities and requirements, with positions available as part-time or full-time, depending on the role. All positions require knowledge of store systems and automotive parts, with varying levels of expertise required for each role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to commercial customers and assist with task and inventory processes in the store (Store Driver).
• Support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives (Salesperson).
• Provide advanced functions of the DIY business and assist customers with identification, troubleshooting, and project assistance (Retail Parts Pro).
• Support advanced functions for both DIY and DIFM customers, including sourcing from various places (Commercial Parts Pro).
• Support basic and advanced functions on DIY and professional business, maintain company standards, and prepare for a General Manager role (Manager in Training).

Requirements

• Entry level position for Store Driver and Salesperson; professional level for Retail Parts Pro and Commercial Parts Pro.
• Knowledge of store systems and automotive parts.
• Ability to drive and pass Advance's driving certification requirements (preferred for all roles).
• Manager in Training role requires flexibility to interview for open roles within the district.

Nice-to-haves

• In-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes.
• Experience in customer service and sales.
