About the position

As a full-time Store Manager at Famous Footwear, you will lead your store team to provide an exceptional shoe shopping experience for customers. Your role involves motivating your team to meet sales targets, managing store operations, and fostering a culture of customer connection and inclusivity. You will be responsible for talent discovery, operational excellence, and creating a winning store environment that reflects the brand's values and commitment to community service.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to foster customer relationships and operational excellence.
• Develop internal talent and create succession plans for leadership roles.
• Manage day-to-day store operations including pricing, shipment processing, and inventory.
• Drive sales by utilizing business insights and refining strategies for better results.
• Create a diverse and inclusive work environment that values every associate.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1-5 years of retail store management experience, preferably in specialty retail.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within store teams.
• Demonstrated ability to set objectives and organize work to meet goals.
• Proven leadership skills to motivate and communicate positively with associates.
• Experience in training, coaching, and developing associates.
• Strong problem analysis and decision-making skills.
