About The Position

The Store Manager I at TD Bank is responsible for developing and leading a store portfolio to enhance growth and profitability in the Consumer Business. The Store Manager will coach and motivate the store team, deepen customer relationships, and ensure that customer needs are met through appropriate referrals to specialists.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in retail, customer service, or financial services.
  • 1+ years of leadership and coaching experience.
  • Strong business development skills and ability to implement strategies.
  • Knowledge of bank product lines and services, as well as store operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and strong financial analysis skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Small Business and Consumer lending experience.
  • Notary License.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the store portfolio to achieve growth and profitability.
  • Manage a small-sized store and team, focusing on employee performance and development.
  • Oversee store operations, ensuring compliance with banking policies and procedures.
  • Act as the highest point of escalation for customer issues and internal inquiries.
  • Originate loan applications and conduct loan closings while maintaining NMLS registration.
  • Promote the bank's presence in the community through participation in local initiatives.
  • Set performance metrics for the store and individual team members, holding them accountable for results.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Manage the store budget to meet revenue and expense objectives.
