About the position

The Strategic Event Marketing Manager at Texas Capital Bank is responsible for developing and executing event marketing strategies that align with the company's goals. This role involves creating high-touch events, managing event logistics, and collaborating with various business lines to enhance event opportunities. The manager will also serve as a strategic partner in event planning, ensuring that all events reflect the Texas Capital Bank brand standards while meeting budgetary and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a coordinated corporate calendar.
  • Create event marketing plans to meet the company's goals.
  • Execute high-touch events consistent with Texas Capital Bank brand standards.
  • Liaise with other Texas Capital lines of business to leverage ideas and resources.
  • Conduct event management tasks from start to finish, including budget maintenance and vendor negotiation.
  • Coordinate post-event tasks such as data management and event debrief documents.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide event updates as a strategic thought partner.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in corporate event marketing or event management activities.
  • Strong proficiency in Cvent and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work from the Dallas office full time.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
