About The Position
The Strategic Ledger Program has been established under the wider Citi Finance Transformation. The program strategy is to adopt and implement global standard Oracle SaaS/Cloud based accounting and ledger platform (the "strategic ledger"). The outcome will be a robust global process, governance, and controls to ensure consistent and materially accurate, complete, and timely ledger data and results. The Finance Controllers program team, in partnership with Finance Technology, selected Oracle Cloud as the technology platform, after a rigorous technical and functional assessment of Citi's current ledger platforms against leading industry solutions. The new platform provides enhanced technical capability and supports our finance transformation strategy and realization of our Target Operating Model. The program has established a Citi-wide governance and cross-functional team including Finance, Operations, Risk, Business and Technology partners. The scope of the program includes: * Centralize and standardize accounting into global accounting hubs and sub-ledgers * Implement a standard sub ledger and general ledger for the firm * Replace Citi's current Operating and Reporting ledgers, including those embedded in bank-in-a-box platforms such as Flexcube * Automate and streamline accounting and ledger processes and controls * Address source data quality issues impacting ledgers in partnership with enterprise-wide data priorities * Align contractual and instrument level balances and positions with financial balances The Operating Model & Process Solutions Lead will report to the Operating Model & Process Director Lead who will be responsible for the Design of Citi's Oracle / SaaS enable Operating Model and process design for accounting, ledger and close processes and the integration.
