About the position

The Strategic Operations Specialist at Inter-Con Security Systems is responsible for ensuring the quality of data output related to payroll and billing for assigned accounts. This role involves identifying and resolving issues that may impact payroll and invoicing, coordinating with various departments, and utilizing analytical skills to generate compliant deliverables. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide clear reporting on pay and billing statuses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timesheets for Payroll & Invoicing using Salesforce exception reporting and audit reports.
• Manage Salesforce task and case load.
• Identify and escalate operational issues impacting pay/bill quality and timeliness, such as unjustified overtime.
• Coordinate with appropriate leadership cross-functionally to drive resolution on operational issues.
• Oversee personnel management and scheduling.
• Seamlessly hand off pay/bill deliverables to downstream departments.
• Provide clear and concise pay/bill status reporting on demand, as well as concrete forecasts.
• Train Operations on Pay Bill process and procedures to support smooth operations.
• Work in Salesforce and Excel on data sets to audit, correct, and create data load files.
• Conduct projections and variances.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience utilizing Salesforce within a medium to large organization preferred.
• Proficient in web-interface reporting tools and data manipulation using Excel (pivot tables, Index & Match).
• Basic understanding of Payroll and Billing fundamentals.
• Experience conforming data to a set of technical requirements.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Salesforce Trailhead completions preferred.
• FP&A component as a background would be beneficial.
