STRUCTURAL ENGINEER 1

About the position

Analyzes, researches and develops structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design, or operation of product to include structures, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronics, power plant, armament, heating and ventilating, equipment and maintenance designs. Analyzes damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling. Specific structural engineering specialties may include dynamics and loads, stability and stress fatigue and thermal analysis. Tools utilized may include CATIA, IDEAS, ProEngineer and a variety of software applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop structural engineering specifications.
• Research and utilize metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials.
• Conduct damage tolerance and durability analyses.
• Perform structural modeling and analysis.
• Utilize engineering tools such as CATIA, IDEAS, and ProEngineer.

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Ocean).
• New Graduates in class of May 2025 are acceptable.

Nice-to-haves

• Willing to support availabilities, Incline Experiments, and shipchecks as an On Site Technical Representative.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Finite Element Analysis, and MS Office/Access.
