About The Position

We are seeking an entry-level Structural Engineer to assist our engineering team with maintaining high standards and efficiency. The role involves 2D and 3D drafting on shop and fabrication drawings for material handling systems across various industries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Experience in 2D drafting and 3D design.
• Experience with detailing large systems and shop drawings.
• Strong understanding of steel and structural analysis.
• GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Tekla Structures is a plus.
• Familiarity with Statpro or similar 3D modeling software.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D drafting and 3D design using AutoCAD.
• Detail large systems and work with shop and fabrication drawings.
• Create drawings and details to support field operations.
• Conduct site surveys using laser scanners.
• Design platform footings and other structural elements.
• Utilize software such as Revit, AutoCAD Plant, and Civil 3D for structural analysis.
