About The Position

Requirements

• Must be a current UVU student
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with the basics of rock climbing
• Proficient in knot tying and belaying
• Familiar with proper climbing form and technique

Responsibilities

• Work climbing times as scheduled
• Facilitate special groups
• Assist in clinics and teach patrons
• Monitor the entire facility during operating hours
• Process participant paperwork and check-ins
• Conduct belay checks and lead tests
• Perform visual and walk-through inspections
• Execute opening and closing procedures
• Monitor safety of all wall users and enforce safety policies
• Operate POS system, cash register, and membership software
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service
