Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service by understanding guests' needs and performing requested services efficiently and professionally.
- Perform a variety of hair services including haircuts, color, highlights, and waxing.
- Complete transactions on the computerized register and perform close-out procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, including light housekeeping duties.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on industry trends and techniques.
Requirements
- Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests regarding services offered and their needs.
- Ability to perform administrative tasks such as completing transactions and maintaining salon cleanliness.
