About the position

Yorktel is seeking an experienced Angular Web UI Developer to assist in completing the functionality of a newly developed cloud-based public inquiry system. The role involves working closely with the product owner and development team to design, develop, and maintain a custom intranet web application, ensuring effective communication and resolution of technical issues while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work with the product owner and managers to define and design new functionality.
• Develop prototypes of new functionality based on defined specifications.
• Collaborate with other developers to define back-end APIs needed for new functionality.
• Develop new functionality and troubleshoot existing functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain project documentation according to Yorktel procedures.
• Communicate effectively with internal staff, client representatives, and subcontractors.
• Ensure successful completion of assignments on time and within budget.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in web development or a Bachelor's degree in a multimedia web design or IT-related field plus 5 years' experience in web development.
• Confident mastery of Angular 17 and higher.
• Confident mastery of TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.
• Knowledge of Telerik Kendo Angular controls and NGRX Redux state management.
• Understanding of accessibility compliance pages and NX CLI workspace management.
• Confident mastery of ASP.NET Core Web API, Entity Framework, and C#.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with Git source control and project management software such as Agility.
• Knowledge of Tableau reporting tool.
